Desertification & Forest
Main Topic : afforestation to prevent desertification, yellow dust, prohibit illegal lumbering,
forest fire prevention, diseases and insects, and forest management.

Forests provide us clean water, fresh air, wood, and many other things we need in other to survive. Especially, with global warming becoming the main problem of the 21th century, the importance of forests as carbon dioxide absorber has been growing. But forests over the world, particularly the tropical forests which are the repository of variety of species have been devastated due to excessive and illegal lumbering and improper maintenance. The area of forests has also decreased drastically. So, the desertification and forest department aims to prevent global warming and restore forests by inhibiting indiscreet lumbering.
